Our 55+ story begins in 1997.
1997
Traditions of America is born.
1998
Groundbreaking on our first 55+ communities in Eastern PA.
2001
First of the “Baby Boomers” turn 55.
2004
Win three National awards for Best Community and Home Design.
2007
Groundbreaking at Liberty Hills, Liberty Hill, Hanover, and Silver Spring. Launch HomeFree and HomeAssist.
2008
Surpass 1,000 Active Adult homes sold in the Lehigh Valley market even amidst the “Great Recession”. Win National award for Best Design.
2010
Win Best Community – Liberty Hill and Best Residential Community – Hanover. Win 28 National and Local awards.
2011
Launch “Live Better” campaign. Win 26 National and Local awards.
2012
Groundbreaking at Bridle Path.
2013
Groundbreaking at Sewickley Ridge and Lititz.
2014
Groundbreaking at Saucon Valley.
2015
Contracted to buy six additional sites in Eastern and Western PA.
2016
Unveiled Pinnacle brand. Groundbreaking at Summer Seat and Pinnacle at Adams. Win National 55+ Builder of the Year.
2017
Introduced new generation of Clubhouse and Floorplans.
2018
Groundbreaking at Cranberry.
2019
Groundbreaking at Richland, West Brandywine, Green Pond & Southpointe. Our first entry into the South Hills of Pittsburgh and Chester County.
2020
Groundbreaking at East Petersburg and Locust Valley.
2021
Win National 55+ Builder of the Year for the second time. Win Gold for for Best Clubhouse Design and Best Detached Home Design – The Hancock.
2022
Groundbreaking at Chesterfield – our inaugural community in Virginia!
2023
Groundbreaking at our second community in Chester County – Brandywine Farms. Debut the Pinnacle brand for the first time in Chester County.
2024
Grand opening ribbon cutting ceremonies for our resort Clubhouses in Richmond, VA and Chester County, PA. Groundbreaking at our newest community in the North Hills of Pittsburgh – Rose Ridge!
2025
Brandywine Farms in Chester County, PA wins several accolades at Best in PA Living’s Award Ceremony including 55+ Community of the Year, Best Sales Team, and numerous awards for our Pinnacle Hancock Model. At Rose Ridge, we celebrated the Model Grand Opening and welcomed our first homeowners to the community.
