Pickleball…A Sport For All!

It is without a doubt that TOA communities are known for their gorgeous, resort-style Clubhouses loaded with amenities. In fact, it’s one of the main reasons active-adults choose to live in our communities! They are attracted to the social opportunities, the healthy living that the fitness center offers and the variety of clubs and parties that take place throughout the year. Nevertheless, we are always delightfully surprised when our homeowners go all out hosting events for hobbies they love.

The Clubhouse in any TOA community is the place to be and the ultimate social-hub for the neighborhood.  With best-in-class amenities and countless social opportunities for homeowners to enjoy, you will always find a neighbor looking to share in hobbies and experiences together.  Especially when it comes to pickleball!

Case in point: our East Petersburg community in Lancaster County.

Our seasoned and novice pickleball players have taken their enthusiasm for this sport and joined teams with their Lititz community neighbors.

Game On – It’s Always Pickleball Season!

East Pete residents are always out on the court and “rallying” up new neighbors to join in on the fun!  Pickleball, a fast growing and popular sport, is widely enjoyed in TOA communities.  So much so, that East Pete and Lititz residents organized an exciting multi-community “Pickleball Social Event!”  This was the first of many pickleball events for this neighborhood of high-energy residents.  Making connections within TOA communities and enjoying the resort-style amenities together is an experience that is second to none.  The memories made, and new friends gained out on the court, have residents looking forward to doing another event again soon!

How it works – the details:

Residents sign up for play in the Clubhouse, so the neighbors have idea of how many players will be hitting the courts on any given day, or how many would like to participate in pickleball events.  There are players with a wide variety of skill levels within the neighborhood.  Residents even enjoy sharing their skills and teaching new players by hosting “Introduction to Pickleball” classes throughout the year at the Clubhouse.  With opportunities to learn the game with their new best friends on every block, East Pete has proven that pickleball can bring a neighborhood and communities together.

Plan your visit to the Lancaster County and check out pickleball play for yourself at our East Petersburg community today!
